I am a life-long traditional fine artist and graphic designer. I just completed my Master of Arts degree in Graphic Design at the University of Edinburgh. I have a Bachelors of Arts degree in communications art and film. I did my graduate thesis on mythology, religion and folklore. I developed extraordinary strengths in art and design through the process and now am ready to take the next step as a real Creator.

Graduate School: Agency Project

During Semester 1 of my year long program, we worked in a group project simulating a design agency. We called ourselves RE- Design Agency and we specialized in preserving culture through design.

Graduate School: Publication Project

During my graduate school Graphic Design program at the University of Edinburgh we were tasked with a Publication project in which we had to design an editorial based on Milton Glaser’s essay, “Truth and Ambiguity”.

Graduate School: Utopia Project

In addition to our research project, in Semester 2 we also took a class in which we had to design our own “Utopia”. I created a nation-state called Lux Antrum which focused on making all of it’s citizens enlightened people.

Graduate School: Research Project

For Semester 2 students were tasked with researching a topic we would like to do our master’s thesis on. I decided to focus on Scottish Myths and Legends and from there I decided what to focus on.

Graduate School: Master’s Thesis Project

After spending Semester 2 research Scottish Folklore, I decided to specialize and focus on discovering Scottish Fairy folklore. The goal of semester 3 was to find a way to visualize Scottish fairies in a historically accurate way.

Before Graduate School: Personal Work Portfolio

Before I went to Graduate School at the University of Edinburgh, I was a full-time graphic designer for 3+ years working in the healthcare and medical aesthetic industry in Southern California.
